This report describes the computer-based modeling, simulation and analysis of the M35A2 2-1/2-ton truck towing the M105A2 1-1/2-ton cargo trailer. It analyzes the effect that the towing eye position of the M105A2 trailer has on the overall performance and stability of the truck/trailer combination. The combination was simulated performing a severe slalom-type maneuver at varying truck speeds and with several different trailer payload configurations. The resulting roll angle, roll rate, and yaw angle of both the truck and trailer were recorded and are discussed in the report.This report describes the computer-based modeling, simulation and analysis of the M35A2 2-1/2-ton truck towing the M105A2 1-1/2-ton cargo trailer.
